Design and application verification of DCS monitoring system for thermal energy in thermal power plants

Abstract:To reduce thermal energy consumption and improve energy utilization efficiency in thermal power plants, a thermal energy monitoring system for thermal power plants is designed based onthe design principles of openness, accuracy,economy and safety and the distributed control system (DCS).The hierarchical and distributed design method isadopted todesign theoverallsystemarchitecture,and starting from thefunctionalconfiguration,thesoftware and hardware functional modules of the system's energy consumption monitoring and the energy consumption monitoring information management platform areconfigured.The system application shows that allfunctionsof the system are complete.Based on this system,real-time collction,transmission,analysis and processing of energy consumption data such as water,electricity and gas on site in thermal power plants can be completed,thus further realizing accurate monitoring of thermal energy in thermal power plants,optimizing the efectofon-site scheduling,reducing thermal energy consumption in thermal power plants and improving energy utilization ffciency.
