Research on welding residual stress control and performance improvement of large-span steel structure overpass joints

Abstract:Taking the Urban-Rural Comprehensive Improvement Project (EPC)of Guangxin District—Jiyang Road Improvement and Reconstruction Project asthe research object,this paper introduces its project overview,including structural type,size,materials and soon.Byusing finite element software and combining with relevant codes,the stress,mode,deflection,overallstability and local component checking calculation of the joint welding structure were caried out.In addition,the construction of joint fatigue load spectrum,damage assessment and performance improvement measures were studied.The results show that the performance of the overpass structure and its joints meets the requirements of relevant codes.
