Research on key technologies and process optimization for the erection of 500kV compact transmission towers

Abstract:To solve the problems related to the contradiction between transmission corridor compression and natural power improvement,aiming atthe characteristicsof smallphase-to-phase insulation distanceand complex tower window structure of compact transmision towers,a sectional pre-tightening and dynamic adjustment erection process for 500kV compact transmission towers was proposed. Through the optimization of suspension derrick external stay wires and boltanti-loosening measures,the risks of tower material deformationand phase-to-phase flashover in the traditional process were resolved.The research results show that this procsscan reduce construction errors and improve te safety of live-line operation,providing technical support for the compact construction of double-circuit transmission lines on the same tower.
