New sound-absorbing material prepared by combining carbonized cork oak bark fiber with silica sol and its performance

Abstract:Taking plant fibers and silica sol as the main raw materials,anew building sound-absorbing material combining carbonized cork oak bark fiber with silica sol was proposed.In the experiment,the mix ratio ofthe sound-absorbing material ofcarbonizedcorkoak bark fiber combined with silicasol was first optimized,andthen the performance of the sound-absorbing material was analyzed.The results show that when the content of carbonized cork oak bark fiber is 4% ,silica sol 10% ,pure acrylic emulsion 6% and sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate 1.5% ,the sound absorption coefficient of the prepared sound-absorbing material at a frequency of 5 OOo Hz reaches 0.83%. Its initial decomposition temperature and final decomposition temperature are 242.3°C and 497.3 C respectively,the weight loss rate is 51.4% ,the density is 21.72kg/m3 ,the elastic modulus is 114.3kPa and the yield strength is 7.9kPa .The material exhibits excellnt sound absorption performance,thermal stability and mechanical properties, which lays a foundation for the subsequent development and application of plant fiber-based porous sound-absorbing materials.
