Research on over-load and unbalanced load detection method for railway freight cars based on multi-sensor information fusion

Abstract:A detection method for over-loadand unbalanced load of railway freight cars based on multi-sensor information fusion is proposed.Sensors installed onrailway freight cars and in the driving environment are used to colect driving information of railway freight cars such as shear force and presure.With the support of multi-sensor information fusion technology,multi-sensor fusion information is obtained through denoising,data alignment and other steps to solve the problem ofdata fusion distortion,thus deriving thecalculation results ofover-loadandunbalanced load parameters ofrailway freightcars.According to theover-load and unbalanced load parameters ofrailway freight carsand the force balancecondition of railway freight cars,the judgmentconditions for over-load and unbalanced loadareset.Bycomparing theover-loadandunbalanced load parameters withthe judgmentconditions,thedetection results of the over-loadand unbalanced load state,over-load amount andunbalanced load amount ofrailway freight cars are obtained.The experimental results show that the AUC value of the over-load and unbalanced load state detected bythedesigned method is significantly improved,thedetection errorofover-load/unbalanced loadamount is effctivelyreduced,andundertheoperationconditions of multiplerailwayfreightcars,thefluctuation coefficientof thedetectionerrorofover-loadandunbalancedloadofrailwayfreightcarsislower,which means thedesignedmethod has higher detection accuracy and better adaptability.
