Bearing characteristics of rock-socketed piles and safety risk assessment of karst cave roof in karst development areas

Abstract:Aiming at thedual risks of bearing instabilityandroof failure faced byengineering pile foundations in karstdevelopment areas,this studyanalyzed the stress response lawand deformationcoordination mechanism of the pile-cave system under load according to the bearing characteristics of rock-socketed piles underdiferent ithology and karst cave structure conditions,and explored the determination path of the critical safety thickness of karst cave roof basedonthe limit statetheoryand numerical correction method.The research resultscan provide a structural adaptation basis for thedesign of rock-socketed pilefoundations in karst areasand improve the parameterization level of pile foundation stability judgment.
