Calculation analysis and preloading test of No. O block support for long-span continuous rigid frame bridge

Abstract:Thedesign and preloading testof the No.O block support for continuous rigid frame bridges are related to the construction progress,safety and quality of the entire bridge.Based on a continuous rigid frame bridge ( 100+ (204 180+100 )adopting the cantilever hanging basket construction method,the scheme design of the No.O block support was cariedout.The special large-scale bridge software Midas Civil wasused to establish the spatial finite element model of the support,and the force situation ofeach componentof the support was analyzed.The results show thatthe stiffess,strength and stabilityof eachcomponentof theNo.O block support allmet the specificationrequirements;the preloading testof the support was caried outbyself-balanced hydraulic jacks.Theanalysis and research on the monitoring results foundthat themaximum displacement of the double-spliced I-steel 4Oa crossbeam occurs at the mid-span position,and its maximum displacement is 8.2mm ,which is less than the theoretical calculation value of 8.4mm and meets the specification requirements; thus,the feasibility of the scheme design of the No.O block support is determined,which can provide a reference forthe force analysis and calculation of similar engineering structures.
