A new method for rapid,efficient and accurate detection of cement components

Abstract:To met the demand for rapid detection of components in the cement production process,this study proposes a new method forrapid,efficient and accurate detection of cement components,which adopts acement component detection technology combining X -ray fluorescence(XRF)analysis and amultiple linear regresion model. Glass fusion discs were prepared by thefusion method,the chemical components of cement and raw materials were determined by XRF,and a component calculation model was constructed combined with the least square method. Five cement samples with diferent mix ratios were selected forthe experiment,their ignition basisand analysis basis data were determined respectively,and the proportion of each component was calculated by the model.The results show that the deviation between the calculated values of the model and the actual mix ratios is less than 2% . Among them,the calculation deviations of clinker and gypsum are particularly significant,being ±0.91% and ±0.85% respectively,while the deviation of admixtures is slightlyhigher,which may berelated to the inhomogeneityofraw materialsorthesystematicerorof theXRFsystem.This study verifiesthe feasibilityofcombining XRFwithamathematical model,providesan eficientandaccurate methodfortherapid detectionofcementcomponents,which issuitableforthecomponent analysis ofdiferent types ofcement without the needto distinguish cement types inadvance.
