Crack detection and on-site rapid disposal method for mass concrete during construction period

Abstract:To address a series of problems in mass concrete during construction,such as low accuracy of crack detection,significantsusceptibilitytothesurrounding environment,and impreciserepairstrategies,thisstudyproposes a crack detection and rapid disposal method based on image processing and machine learning. Morphological operations were applied for the preliminary processng of crack images,and the four-connectivityand eight-connectivity labeling methods were combined to enhance crack atributes.Subsequently,the projection distribution vector and curvature feature fusion technology werecomprehensively used to extract the geometric properties of cracks,which were finally input into the extreme learning machine (ELM)model toachieve high-precision detection.The experimental results showed that in 1O groupsof test samples,the intersection over union(IoU)of the proposed detection method all exceededO.85,and thenumberof identified cracks inalldirections was highlyconsistent withthe actual situation.On thebasis of the above detection conclusions,the study further proposedarepair plan differentfrom traditional methods.The test results of various indicators after repair showed that the bonding strength all reached more than 2.0MPa ,and the impermeability and surface flatness also met the required standards.
