Application of jute fiber reinforced anti-erosion modified material in ecological slope construction

Abstract:To improve the rainwater erosion resistanceof slopes,jute fiber was used as the raw material to prepare a fiber-reinforced soil,andthe jute fibercontentand thethickness offiber-reinforced soil were optimized.Theresults show that when the jute fiber content is 0.3% ,the jute fiber-reinforced soil has good disintegration resistance with a disintegration rate of 0.0308%/s .When the thickness of the fiber-reinforced soil is 5 cm,the slope reinforced with this jute fiber-reinforced soil has excellent rainwater erosion resistance.Among them,the volumetric water contents at 6 and 12 hours are 30.5% and 30.7% respectively,the pore water pressures of the slope are 2.62 kPa and 2.84 kPa respectively,and the soil erosion amounts are 187g and 232g respectively. Meanwhile,this jute fiber-reinforced soil achieves a goodapplication efect in theconstruction ofecological slopes.Insummary,the jutefiber-reinforced soil has favorable rainwater erosionresistance and disintegration resistance,and exhibits a promising engineering application prospect.
