Construction monitoring technology for the integration of geology and mining surveying and mapping with building information modeling

Abstract:The scale and complexity of construction engineering are rising,and geological conditions have a significantimpact.Traditionalconstructionmonitoring is dificult to met thedemand,sonew technologiesareurgently needed to achieve accurate and dynamic monitoring.Focusing on the construction monitoring technology integrating geology and mining surveying and mapping with building information modeling(BIM),this paper expounds its technical principles,advantages and application key points.By integrating the high-precision geographic dataof geology and mining surveying and mappng withthe three-dimensional informationmodelofBIMand combining a varietyof digitaltechnologies,accurate monitoring and eficient managementof the construction processarerealized,which provides technical support for improving construction quality and ensuring engineering safety.The application prospectand development directionof this integrated technology in the field of construction monitoring are discussed.This technology combines the detailed geological information of geology and mining surveying and mapping with the three-dimensional visualizationabilityof BIM model to form a comprehensiveconstruction monitoring solution. Geologyand mining surveying and mapping technology can provide high-precision geological data,such as stratum distribution,rock type,groundwater level and other key information,which is crucialforunderstandingand predicting the geologicalrisks that maybe encountered in theconstruction process.The BIM model can simulate the three -dimensional structure of buildings and display each stage of the construction process,including structural changes and material usage,thus helping engineers better plan and monitor the construction process.
