Green modification of building materials and its application in interior decoration design

Abstract:To explore the antibacterial properties of green building materialsapplicable tobuilding interior decoration,this experiment adopted silane coupling agent KH57O for the surface modification of nano-magnesium oxide, and combined the modified nano-magnesium oxide with acrylic latex paint to prepare a green antibacterial latex paint.Then,the effcts of diferent adition amounts of modified nano-magnesium oxideon the performance of the latex paint were studied,andthe application ofthe latex paint in building interior decoration was discussed.The results showed thatthe green antibacterial latex paint exhibitedthe optimal comprehensive performance when the addition amount of modified nano-magnesium oxide was 0.4% . At this time,the surface drying time and actual drying time of the latex paint were 4.29h and 4.35 h respectively,the viscosity was 1 368mPa⋅s ,the adhesion grade was Level2,andtheantibacterial performancewas excellent.Finally,theapplicationofthisgreenantibacterial latex paint in the interior design and restoration of traditional dwelings in Yongzhou area was discussed.
