Preparation and application of a CMC-modified gelatin material in diabetic foot care

Abstract：To improve theantibacterial properties of gel materialsfor diabetic fot ulcer care，apolydopaminenanosilver-CMC modified gelatin was proposed，and the properties and clinical application of the modified gelatin were analyzed. The results showed that the adhesive strength of the modified gelatin was 8.7kPa ，and no shedding of the modified gelatin was observed afterrepeated torsionandbending.Within72 hours，itsbacteriostaticrates against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus exceeded 90% . The wound healing rate of diabetic mice reached nearly 100% at approximately 7 days，demonstrating excellent comprehensive performance. When the modified gelatin was applied in the clinical care of diabetic foot ulcers，the patientsVAS pain scores decreased from （ （6.42± （204号 0.33）points to （2.03±0.52） points，the wound area reduced from （5.84±1.33 ） cm2 to （2.12±0.36）cm2 ， the wound depth decreased from （ 1.34±0.21 ）cmto（ （0.42±0.05） ）cm，and the total effective rate of treatment reached 100% ：
