Preparation and performance study of a new hydrophilic antibacterial silicone rubber dental impression material

Abstract:Basedon the clinical demand for high-precision impressions,this study designed a two-component matrix based on the vinyl silicone oil/MQ resin cros-linking system,carried out hydrophilicmodification with polyethermodified siliconeoil,andpreparedanantibacterialfillrof iodinatedquaternaryammoniumsalt-functionalized nanoSiO2 . It also analyzedmethods including KH570 coupling treatment,three-rollhigh-shear dispersion,FTIR structural characterization and ISO standard performance testing,and proposed a technical measure of gradient introduction of surface-modified nano-fillers with a content of 0%~5% into the hydrophilic silicone rubber matrix.The results showed that when the filler content was 4% and above,there were no significant differences in the tensile strength, tear strength and elongation at break of the material compared with the commercial Aquasil Ultra ( P>0.05 );the static contact angle was lower than 70∘ with an attenuation rate of less than 5% within 120 s,and the complete replication rate of 20μm detail lines reached 100% ,with a substantial improvement in antibacterial rate.When the filler content was 5% ,the mechanical properties decreased due to the agglomeration effect.

当前临床主流加成型硅橡胶印模材料虽然具备高撕裂强度、低线性收缩率、优异弹性恢复率,但其表面润湿性相对较低,导致在湿润口腔环境中润湿性不足,难以完整复制龈沟、预备体边缘等微细结构,严重影响修复体密合度,且材料缺乏抗菌活性,易吸附链球菌、白念珠菌等口腔致病性微生物,成为潜在交叉感染媒介[]。(剩余5566字)
