Finite element analysis and research on stress of locomotive front window bonding structure based on ANSYS

Abstract:Aimingatthe problem of a large number of water leakage failures of acertain type of locomotive front windshield ina short time after delivery,the bonding and sealing structure of thelocomotive front windshield was simulated and calculated basedonthe general finite element software ANSYS.The stressand strain inside the bonding and sealing adhesive layerbetween the front windshieldand thecar body were analyzedemphaticall,and the aging and fatigue factors of the adhesive were taken into account simultaneously.In accordance with the EN17460 standard,the calculated stress and strain were compared with the allowable stressand strain of the adhesive layer to verifythefeasibilityofthebonding structure design.Finally,an aging test and analysis were cariedout on the bonding performance of the car body substrate (with coating),and the final conclusions and rational suggestions were put forward in combination with the simulation calculation results.
