AbstractInsomniacomorbidwithemotionaldisordersrefers toacomplexconditionwhereinsomniasymptomscoexistwithemotionaldisorderssuchasanxietyanddepresion,severelyafectingthephysicalandmentalhalthofpatints.Withtheiceasing pressureof modem life,theincidenceofthiscondition hasbeenrising yearbyyear,making itacommonmind-bodydisorderin clinical practice.Traditional Chinesemedicine(TCM)believes thatthefundamentalpathogenesisofinsomniacomorbid withemotional disordersliesintheimbalanceofYinandYang,anddisharmonybetweentheheartandliver.Thecausesareoftenclosely relatedtointeralinjuryfromemotionaldistressanddysfunctionoftheinteralorgans.TCM'smind-bodyintegratedtreatment concept emphasizes theunityofbodyandmindandholistic treatment,focusing onemotionalregulationandlifestyleadjustments to achieve the goaloftreating boththemindandbody.Inrecentyears,TCMhasmadesignificant progress intreating insomniacomorbidwithemotionaldisordersusingmethodssuchastraditional herbal formulas,acupuncture,andacupointapplication,ith proven clinical eficacy.Modernstudiessugest thatthe mechanismsofTCMtreatmentforthisconditionmayinvolveregulationof neurotransmites,mprovementofainfuctioalcoectiityndodulationftepothlaic-iiaydenalis vasivebrainimaging techniques,suchasfunctionalmagneticesonanceimaging(fMRI),provideojectivescientificevidencefor exploring the mechanismsof TCMtreatment.The mind-body integrated treatment modelof TCMshowsunique advantages in he preventionandtreatmentof insomniacomorbidwithemotionaldisorders,providing newapproachesandmethods forclinicaltreatment.
