TheEffectof Seamless Intervention Based on Watson's Theory of Human Caring on Patients Undergoing Painless Gastroscopy

AbstractObjective：To explore the efectof seamlessnursing care basedon Watson's Theoryof Human Caringonpatients undergoingpainlessgastroscopyexamination.Methods：Atotalof10Opatientswhounderwentpainlessgastroscopy inourhospital from March to June 2O25 weredivided into two groups using arandom number table method，with5O patients ineach group.The controlgroupreceived routinecare，while theobservation group received seamless care basedon Watson's Theoryof Human Caring.Thechangesofphysiologicalstressresponses，motionalstatesandsleepqualitywerecomparedbetweenthetwogroupsbeforeandafterursing.Resuts：eforenursing，tererenoigniiantdirencsinsiologicalstress，motioalsatesoseep quality between the two groups（ P>0.05 ）. After nursing，the heart rate（HR），systolic blood pressure（SBP） levels and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale（SAS）scoresof thetwo groups were decreased，andtheobservation groupshowedsignificantly greaterreductions compared to the control group（ P<0.05 ）. After nursing，the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index（PSQI） scores of each dimension inthetwogroupsweredecreased，withsignificantlygreaterimprovementsobservedinthebservationgroupthanintheontrol group（ P<0.05 ）. Conclusion：For patients undergoing painlessgastroscopy，the application of seamless nursing based on Watson'sTheoryofHuman Caring improvesphysiological stressresponsesandnegativeemotional states，hileefectivelynhancing their sleep quality.
