The Effect of Pain Intervention Combined with Evidence-based Nursing on Sleep Quality in Patients Undergoing Acute Appendicitis Surgery

AbstractObjective：ToinvestigatetheclinicalValueofpaininterventioncombinedwithevidence-basednursinginpatintswith acuteappendicitisduringsurgical treatmentMethods：Atotalof 84 patients withacuteappendicitis whounderwentsurgeryinour hospitalfrom January 2O23 to December 2O24 wereenrolledandrandomlydividedintoacontrol groupandanobservationgroup usingarandomnumber table method，with42 patients ineach group.Thecontrol groupreceivedroutinesurgicalcare，whilethe observation groupreceivedpaininterventioncombined with evidence-basednursing intervention.Painlevel，psychological state， sleepqualitynddepthors，epfiencyrelatedinicators，ursingstifactio，ndicidenceofostoperatieadvesec tions werecomparedbetweenthetwo groups before andafter nursingcare.Results：Theobservation groupshowed greaterimprovements in psychological state scores，pain intensityscores，sleepdepth scores，and sleepqualityscores before andafter nursing compared to the control group（all P<0.05 ）. The observation group also demonstrated shorter sleep onset time，shorter sleep latency，longer total sleep time，and fewer awakenings than the control group（ P<0.05 ） . Additionally，nursing satisfaction was higher in the observation group（ P<0.05 ）. Conclusion：Patients with acute appendicitis who receive pain intervention combined with evidence-based nursing during surgical treatment have ideal results.
