AbstractElderlyindividualsareahigh-riskpopulationforsleepdisorders,oftencharacterizedbylightandfragmentedsepIn traditional Chinesemedicine(TCM),theconceptsof clarityandturbidityrepresenttheexternalmanifestationsofYinand Yang.Theirdynamic balanceis fundamental to maintaining the normal physiologicalfunctionsof theinternalorgans.Withaging, thedeclineof Yingqiand Weiqidisrupts thisharmony,leading toYin-Yang imbalanceandsleep-wakedisturbances.Teeentialpathogenesisofsleepfragmentationinteelderlyliesinqiandblooddeficiency,hilethecorepathogenicfactoris“turbidevildamagingclarity.”herefore,treamentshouldbebasedoeinforcingqiandblod,dfrentiatingbetweeclarityandturbiity,andcamingthespirit(Shen),whileakingintoaccountindividualdiferencesingender,age,sydrometype,nddiual rhythm.
