Effects of Optimized Emergency Nursing Processon Sleep Quality in Patients with Traumatic Limb Fractures

AbstractObjective：Toexploretheefects ofoptimizing theemergency nursing processonsleepqualityinpatientswithtraumatic limb fractures.Methods：Atotalof116patients withtraumaticlimbfractureswhowereadmited totheEmergencyDepartmentof the Army73rdGroupHospitalfromJanuary2O24 to June2O25wereselectedasstudyparticipants.Acording totherandomnumbertable method，theyweredividedintoacontrol groupandanobservationgroup，with58cases ineach group.Thecontrol groupreceivedroutineemergencynursingcare，whiletheobservation groupreceivedoptimized emergencynursing processintervention.The Pitsburgh SleepQuality Index（PSQI）was used toassesslpquality.Treatmentcompliance，incidenceof complications，andvitalsigns（systolicblood presure，heartraterespiratoryrate，andbodytemperature）wererecordedandcopared betweenthetwo groups.Results：Afterintervention，theobservation groupdemonstrated significantly highercompliance withimmobilizationandfixation，painmanagement，magingexamination，preoperativepreparation，andslepmanagementcomparedwith the control group（ P<0.05 ）. The incidences of traumatic shock ，compartment syndrome，vascular/nerve injury，and infection were significantly lower in the observation group（ P<0.05 ）. The observation group also showed lower systolic blood pressure and body temperature，but higher heart rate and respiratory rate than the control group（ P<0.05 ）.Moreover，PSQI scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group，indicating beter sleep quality（ P<0.05 ） . Conclusion ： Optimizing theemergencyursingprocesscanimprovetreamentcompliane，educetheincidenceofcomplications，stabilizevitalsigns，and enhance sleepqualityinpatientswithtraumatic imbfractures.Thisapproachhassignificantclinicalvalueandis worthyof broader application.
