The Impact of Wrist-ankle Acupuncture and Auricular Point Pressing on Postoperative Pain Relief and Sleep Quality in Patients with Mixed Hemorrhoids

AbstractObjective:Toanalyzeand exploretheefectof wrist-ankleacupuncture combined withauricular point pressingon postoperativepainreliefandslepqualityinpatients withmixedhemorhoids.Methods:Atotalof1OOpatientswithmixedhemorrhoidsadmited toLongyan Hospitalof Traditional Chinese Medicinefrom January2O25toJune2O25wereselectedanddivided intoacontrolgroup(conventional intervention,5Ocases）andanobservation group(wrist-ankleacupuncturecombinedwithauricular pointpresingintervention,5Ocases）accordingtodiferentinterventionmethods.Amongthem,forwrist-ankleacupuncture, selectthelowerlstand 6thzonesonbothsidesandretainthe nedlesfor4to6hours.Forauricularacupoint pressng,selet4to 5acupointssuchasthelowersegmentoftherectum.Painintensity(Numerical Rating Scale,NRS）andsleepquality(Pitsburgh Sleep Quality Index,PSQI）were compared between the two groups.
