The Impact of Parental Intervention on Growth，Development，and Sleep Improvement of Premature Infants

AbstractObjective：Toinvestigatetheclinical efectsof parental participatoryinterventionongrowth，developmentand slep qualityinpreterminfants.Methods：Atotalof15Opreterminfants treatedatPutianFirstHospitalfromJanuary2O23toDecember 2024 were enroledinthestudy.The participants wererandomlydividedinto two groups using computerizedrandomization：acontrol group（75cases）andanobservation group（75cases）.Thecontrolgroupreceivedroutinenursingcare，whiletheobservation groupunderwentparentalparticipatoryintervention.Thestudyanalyzedtheclinicaloutcomesofdiffrentinterventionprotocolsin termsof growthdevelopment indicators（including head circumference，bodylength，andbodyweight）andsleepquality（daily sleepdurationandnightimesleepduration）beforeandaftertheinterventionResults：Comparedtopre-interventionlevels，both groups showed significant improvements in growth development indicators and sleep quality after intervention（ P<0.05， ）. The observation group demonstrated greater increases in head circumference，body length，and body weight（ P<0.05， ）compared to the control group，along with longer daily and nighttme sleep duration（ P<0.05 ）.No statistically significant differences were observed in pre-intervention growth development indicators or sleep quality between the two groups（ P>0.05 ）. Conclusion：Parentalparticipatoryinterventionpromotesphysicalgowthdevelopment，increasesdailyandnightimesleepuration，andiproves sleep quality in preterm infants.
