Effects of a“Pain-sleep” Synergistic Management Program Based on Sleep Restriction Therapy on Sleep Quality in Patientswith SevereLimb Trauma

AbstractObjective：Toanalyzethe efects ofa“pain-sleep”synergistic management program basedon sleeprestrictiontherapy on sleepeficiencyand painthreshold in patients with severe limbtrauma.Methods：Atotal of 8Opatientswithseverelimb trauma who were treatedatSanming First Hospitalfrom March2022 to March2O25were selectedasstudy participantsandrandomly dividedintoacontrol groupandanobservation group，with 4Ocases ineachgroup.Thecontrol groupreceivedroutine nursing intervention，whiletheobservationgroupreceiveda“pain-sleep”synergistic managementprogrambasedonsleeprestrictiontherapy inadition to routinecare.Painthresholdand pain-related awakenings were measuredusing a pressre pain tester.The Visual Analogue Scale（VAS）wasusedtoevaluatepainimprovementbeforeandafterintervention.A sleep monitorwasused torecordtotal timeinbed，ctualsleeptie，sleepstructure，platencyndmberofawakeings.Recoveryinicators，cludinglegthf hospitalstay，tmetoindependentambulation，tmetosubsidenceoflimbswellng，andtietocompletepinrelief，erealsocompared.ResutsAfterintervention，painthresholdsinbothgroupsincreasedcomparedwithpre-interventionlevelswithsignificantly higher thresholds in the observation group（ P<0.05 ）. Numerical Rating Scale（NRS） scores and pain-related awakening times decreased in both groups，and the observation group showed significantly lower values than the control group（ P<0.05 ）. Sleep efficiencyandtheproportionofdepsleepincreasedinbothgroupsafterintervention，withtheobservationgroupshowinggreater improvement.Sleep latencyandnumberof awakenings decreasedsignificantly，and theobservation group had shorterrecovery times than the control group（ P<0.05 ）.Conclusion： The“pain-sleep” synergistic management program based on sleep restrictiontherapycanectivelyiceasepnthshold，ducepinintensitymproveslepiiencyndualityndsoeco ery time in patients with severe limb trauma.
