The Effect of Compound Betamethasone Combined with Gentamicin on Sleep QualityofPatientswithIngrown ToenailsandParonychia

AbstractObjective：Toexploretheefectofcompound betamethasonecombined with gentamicinon sleepqualityof patients with ingrowntoenailsaccompaniedbyparonychiaMethods：Atotalof1O5patients withingrown toenailsandparonychiaaditte to our hospital from January 2O23 to January 2O24 were enrolled and divided into a control group（ n=46 ，conventional basic treatment）and an observation group（ n=59 ，treated with local injection of compound betamethasone + gentamicin + lidocaine on the basisofthecontrolgroup）usingarandomnumbertablemethod.Theclincaleficacy，sleepqualityandpolysomnographyindicatorsofthetwogroupswerecompared.Results：Aftertreatment，thetotal sleeptime（TST）andtotal efectiverateof treatmentin theobservationgroup were higherthanthose inthecontrol group，whilethePitsburgh SleepQuality Index（PSQI）scores，wake after sleep onset（WASO），and sleep onset latency（SOL）were all lower than those in the control group（all P<0.05 ） . Conclusion;For patients with ingrowtoenailsandparonychia，thecombined treatmentofcompoundbetamethasoneandgentamicincan improve insomnia symptoms，enhance sleep quality，and achieve remarkable therapeutic effects.

嵌甲伴甲沟炎是一种表现为趾甲嵌入甲的一侧或两侧甲沟组织内引发局部感染及炎症的常见指甲病变疾病，如不进行治疗，病变处易出现水肿、疼痛、溃疡，伤口难以愈合，患者常疼痛难忍、难以入眠，严重降低其生活及生命质量[1-2]。（剩余4757字）
