AbstractThisarticle introduces Profesor ZUO Zheng'sclinical experience intreating sleep disorders using"Time-Space Acupuncture."Professor ZUO studied under the nationallyrecognized TCM expert ZHU Miansheng and inherited ZHU'stheoryof Time-SpaceAcupuncture.ThisinnovativeacupuncturemethodriginalldevelopedbyZHUiansheng,integratesthetdiioal Chinese meridian flow(Ziwu Liuzhu)with concepts from European medicalculture.Itcombines temporal and spatial dimensions, modifyingthetraditional"time acupoint"concept byemphasizingacupoints basedondiseaseetiologyandpathomechanism while incorporatingspatial acupoints,proposing thenovelotionof the"timeacupoint memoryfunction."Time-Space Acupunctureaims toregulate thebody'sqicirculationandleveragethebody'sfieldeffects.Bycombiningtimeandspaceacupoints,itutlstheir memoryandhomologyfunctions withspecific needling techniques toadjustimbalanced yin-yang energy fields,achievingthrapeutic goals.ProfesorZUObelievesthat theorepathogenesisofsleepdisordersliesinyin-yangimbalanceandqistagnatin.Using the"Na Jia"method,Time-Space Acupuncture emphasizes the"correspondence between heaven and humans”principle,aligning thecirculationoforiginalqithroughthetwelve main meridiansandtheir66five-shuand yuanpointsovera ten-daycycle.This harmonizesthepatient's yin-yangviatheirown"yuanqi,"efectivelyallviatingsymptomsof sleepdisorders.The method'sdual focus on temporal and spatial regulation of qi and yin-yang demonstrates a distinct clinical advantage.
