AbstractObjective:Toinvestigate theroleof sleep-related indicators inthe developmentof erectiledysfunction(ED)in men.Methods:Atotalof8OpatientswithEDadmitedtotheThirdPeople'sHospitalAfiliatedtoFujianUniversityofTaditional ChineseMedicinefrom April2O22 to May 2O25 were selectedas theED group,andanother80 healthy men who underwent preconception examinationduring thesame priod were selectedasthenon-EDgroup.General dataandsleep-related indicators ere collected,includingdaileeuration,PitsburghSleepQualityIndex(Q)totalsore,sleeplatency,umberfnoctualawakenings,daytimedysfunctionsore,andapnea-hyopnea index.Unvariateanalysis, orrelationanalysis, andmultivaratLgisticregressionanalysiswereused toevaluatetheassociationbetweensleep-related indicatorsandtheoccurrenceofED.Results: Univariate analysis showed that age,the proportion of daily sleep duration <6h ,PSQI total score, sleep latency, number of nocturnal awakenings,daytiedysfunctionscore,andapnea-hypopnea indexintheEDgroupwere significantlyhigherthanthose nthe non-ED group( P<0.001 ). Correlation analysis indicated that all sleep-related indicatorswere significantly positively correlated with the occurrence of ED( P<0.001 ). Multivariate regresson analysis demonstrated that age, daily sleep duration <6h ,PSQI score,sleplatencyumberofoctualwakeningsdatiedfunctionsoreandaea-hypopeaindexereidepedentsk factors forED.Conclusion;Ageandmultiplesleep-related indicatorsareindependentrisk factorsforthedevelopmentof EDin men. Clinical attention should be paid to the screening and intervention of these indicators.
