Clinical Efficacy of Breast-conserving Radical Surgery Versus Modified Radical Mastectomy in Breast Cancer Treatment and Their Effects on Sleep Quality

AbstractObjective:Toanalyzetheclinical eficacyofbreast-conservingradicalsurgeryandmodifiedradical mastectomynpatientswithbreastcancerandtheirefectsonslpquality.Methods:Atotalof68patientswithbreastcanceradmitedtotheDepartmentof Thyroidand BreastSurgeryofFuzhou Second General Hospital from January2O23 to June2O25wereenroledand randomlydivided intoacontrol groupandanobservation groupusing arandom numbertable,with34patients ineach group.The controlgroupunderwentmodifiedradicalmastectomy,hiletheoservationgroupreceivedbreast-conservingradicalsurgerySurgicalindicatorserebervedandomparedbtwntetworoups,icudingoperatioti,itraoperatiebloodlos,ooativedrainagevolume,incisionlength,andlengthofhospitalstayTheincidenceofpostoperativecomplicationssuchassubutaneous efusion,flap ncrosis,upperlimbedema,and infectionwascompared.Breastcosmeticoutcomeswereevaluatedusing the Rose breastaestheticcriteria.Changes insleepqualitybeforeandafterintervention wereassessedusing thePitsburgh Sleep QualityIdex(PSQI）andthe Insomia SeverityIndex（ISI).Results:After intervention,theoperation timeintheobservation groupwasshorterthanthatinthecontrolgroup,hileintraoperativebloodloss,ostoperativedanage volume,incsionlength,nd lengthofhospitalstayweresignificantlylowerthanthoseinthecontrolgroup,andthediferenceswerestatisticallsignificant （ P
