Effects of Remote Care Mode Combined with Integrated Bedtime Diet Planning onSleep QualityinElderlyPatientswithDiabetes

AbstractObjective:Thisarticleaims to explore the efectsof theremotecare modecombined with integrated bedtimedietary planningonsleepqualityinelderlypatientswithdiabetesmelitus.Methods:Atotalof12Oelderlypatients withdiabetesmelius admitedtotheFirstAfiliatedHospitalofXiamen UniversityfromJanuaryO23toSeptember2024wereincluded.Theyweredivided into a control group(routine nursing intervention, n=60 ） and an observation group(remote care mode combined with integrated bedtime dietary planning intervention, n=60 ） using a random number table method. Both groups received continuous interventionfor12weks.Theglycolipidmetabolismindicators2-hourpostprandialbloodglucose（2hPG）,fasting bloodglucose (FBG),high-densitylipoproteincholesterol(HDL-C）,andlow-densitylipoproteincholesterol(LDL-C）levels]andsleepquality [Pittsburgh SleepQualityIndex(PSQI)]werecomparedbetweethetwogroupsbeforeandaftertheintervention.ResultsAfter theintervention,thelevelsofhPG,FBGandDL-CaswellasthePSQIscorsintheobservation groupwerelowerthanthose recordedinthecontrolgroup.Meanwhile,teHDL-Clevelintheobservationgroupwas higher thanthatinthecontrolgroup,and such variations between the two groups showed statistical significance( P
