Effect of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Combined with Zopiclone on Post-stroke Insomnia

AbstractObjective:Toinvestigatetheclinical efectof transcranialmagnetic stimulation(TMS)combinedwithzopicloneon post-strokeinsomnia,nditsimpactonsleepualitynegativeemotions,andfatigue.Methods:Atotalof72patientswithpoststrokeinsomniaadmitedto SanmingFirst HospitalfromDecember2O23toDecember2O24 wereenroledandassignedtoacontrol groupandanobservation groupaccording toadmissonorder,with36cases ineach group.Thecontrol groupreceivedTMSalone,while theobservationgroupreceived TMScombinedwithzopiclone.Sleepquality(Pitsburgh Sleep Quality Index,PSQ1), negativeemotions(Self-RatingAnxiety Scale,SAS;Self-Rating Depresion Scale,SDS),andfatigue(Fatigue Scale-14,FS-14) werecompared betweenthe twogroups.Results:After treatment,theobservationgrouphadasignificantlylowerPSQI score ( 5.33±1.24 )than the control group( 9.05±1.08 ) P<0.05 ). Post-treatment SAS and SDS scores in the observation group ( 51.46±5.74,54.37±3.17 ) were significantly lower than those in the control group( 60.33±3.56,60.41±3.20 )( P< 0. 05) .FS-14 scores were also lower in the observation group( 5.66±1.37 ) compared with the control group( 7.19±1.83 )( P< 0.05).Conclusion:TMScombined withzopicloneinpatientswithpost-strokeinsomniacanefectivelyimprovesleepqualityalleviate negative emotions and fatigue,and demonstrates high clinical application value.
