Abstract:As the maincarieroffood ingredients,sources and nutritional information,food labels playacrucial role in food risk identification and consumerdecision-making.With the increasing varietyoffood products,problems such asfalse labeling,exagerated functionsand inaccurate source information haveemergedcontinuously,which have weakened consumer trustand increasedthe dificultyofsupervision.The applicationofauthenticitytesting technologies enables the verificationoflabelcontentthrough componentanalysis,DNA identification,traceabilitydataandother methods,which helps to makeup for information asymmetry,improve lawenforcement accuracy,and enhance supply chain transparency.Focusing on common label distortionphenomenaandtheir impactsonregulatory judgments,this paperanalyzes theroleofauthenticity testing infod govemance,andproposespathsincluding improving thestandardsystem,strengthening technicalsupportand promoting collaborative supervision,aiming at providing reference for improving food safety management level.
