Research on Nutritional Safety and Potential Pollutant Control in the Processing of Infant Complementary Foods

Abstract: Infant complementary foods are a crucial component in the transition of infants from exclusive breastfeeding to adult foods.Their nutritional safetyand polltant control have a direct impact on thehealthy growth of nfants. Currently,issues related tonutrient losscausedbytheprocessng ofcomplementary foods and polutantconcers during their processng have become hottopicsof concern for both the industry and consumers.This paper reviews the key factors affecting the foodsafetyand nutritionalsafetyofinfantcomplementary foods at various critical stages throughout the entire production process,as well aspotential souresofpollutants.Arisk asessment isonducted,andsstematic control measures forfood safetyand nutritionalsafetyduring the processing ofcomplementaryfoodsare proposed,aiming at providing technical reference for improving the quality and safety of infant complementary foods.
