AbstractGuided bythe Teaching for Understanding(TFU)concept,this paper integrates it with thestructure of the BOPPPS modelto construct an understanding-oriented teaching system for the higher vocational course Physiology. The studydesigns theteachingpath fromsix links:situational introduction,goaldefinition,cognitivediagnosis, participatoryleaming,transferfedbackandsummaryreflection,formingateaching closedloopcenteredonunderstanding performance.Through thepractical application in the clasrooms of Nursing and Pharmacy majors,the results show thatstudents'performanceinconceptmastery,thinking expressonandsituational transferhasbeensignificantlyimproved. This teachingmodelis promotableinrealizingknowledge systemreconstructionand leaming process visualization,and providesan operable implementation framework for the teaching reform of higher vocational medical courses.
