Research on Network Semantic Evolution and Translation Strategies of Interdisciplinary Terms of Science and Engineering from the Perspective of Big Data//LI Wenzhuo

Abstract: With the wide application of big data technology, the semantics of interdisciplinary terms in science and engineering are constantly evolving, and their network semantic features show a complex trend of dynamic, multidimensional and nonlinear interweaving. Based on the theories of terminology, semantics and big data analysis, this paper constructs a research framework of semantic evolution, and analyzes the semantic change path of terms under the driving factors of interdisciplinary, technological evolution and network communication by constructing a structured database of terms and using tools such as BERT and corpus analysis. Furthermore, it puts forward translation principles with accuracy, consistency and adaptability as the core, and puts forward translation strategies such as the combination of transliteration and free translation, context analysis, dynamic tracking and standardization, aiming at improving the scientific and forward-looking terminology translation and promoting academic exchanges and knowledge sharing.
