Extraction of Core Terms of Yellow River Culture from the Perspective of Cultural Semiotics and the Value Coupling with the Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation//WANG Xiaojing， PAN Yan

Abstract： Based on the perspective of cultural semiotics， this article focuses on the refinement of core terms of the Yellow River culture and their value coupling with the sense of community for the Chinese nation. In the research， the standards for extracting core terms such as representativeness and inheritance were first determined. Combined with practical methods such as literature review and basin investigation， a list of core terms of the Yellow River culture from multiple dimensions including history， spirit and region was precisely screened. At the same time， we deeply analyze the connotations of terms and symbols in each dimension and clarify the civilized memories and spiritual values they carry. On this basis， the research shifts to constructing a value coupling scheme that encompasses historical memory as the foundation， cultural identity as the cultivation of belonging， and strong spiritual value cohesion. The research findings are intended to provide a semiotic path for systematically sorting out the core elements of the Yellow River culture and also offer practical guidance for strengthening the sense of community of the Chinese nation in the Yellow River culture.
