Strategies for Standardizing Acupuncture Terminology and Cultivating the Craftsman Spirit in Tuina Major Students//YAN Peng

Abstract: The standardized application of acupuncture terminology forms the foundation for tuina major students to construct a professional cognitive system, while the cultivation of the craftsman spirit serves as the core support for their career development. From a professional and technical perspective, this paper elaborates on the theoretical connotation of acupuncture terminology and analyzes its intrinsic connections with the craftsman spirit of tuina major students in aspects such as technical inheritance, clinical practice, and professional literacy. Combining practical teaching and clinical scenarios, this paper points out the existing problems among current students, including fragmented understanding of acupuncture terminology, arbitrary application, and weak awareness of standardization, as well as their impacts on clinical efficacy and career development. Aiming to promote the cultivation of the craftsman spirit in tuina major students and enhance their professional practical abilities and professional literacy by standardizing acupuncture terminology, this paper proposed specific strategies such as constructing a hierarchical terminology teaching system, creating clinical simulation scenarios, and establishing a terminology usage supervision mechanism.
