Integrated Teaching of Middle School English Reading and Writing Based on Problem Inquiry

AbstractCurrently,middle schoolEnglishreadingand writing teaching is often inashallowand integrated state.The introduction of problem exploration can place real problems with practical significance at the center of teaching, making reading an exploratory process for obtaining information and forming insights,and making writing a logical necessity for interpreting viewpoints and presenting results,therebyeectivelystimulating students' intrinsic learning motivation. Based on the concept of problem exploration,the article proposes specific implementation strategies for theintegrated teaching methodof readingand writing,which includecreating problem drivenscenarios to asign clear goals to reading and writing activities,designing gradient task chains to guide the exploration process step by step, utilizing multimodal resources to expand exploration dimensions,and implementing diffrentiated teaching strategies, in order to promote the deep integration of middle school English reading and writing teaching and achieve the comprehensive development of students' English subject literacy.
