Reform and Practice of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering Teaching under the Background of New Engineering

AbstractIrrigation and drainage engineering is a corecourse in agricultural waterconservancy engineering,and its strong professionalism and practicality pose challenges to traditional teaching methods.In response to the problems of single teaching methods,lagging content updates,and weak practical links in thecourse,the article innovatively constructs a "two-line three-level" teaching mode,adopts the "four-step closed-loop guidance method" to carry out "theory+practice" teaching,and establishes a diversified assessment system. The reform has achieved significant results, with the failure rate of students dropping from 17% to 2% and the excellence rate increasing from 21% to 26% , effectively promoting the improvement of the quality of talent cultivation.
