AbstractTheCollege Student Innovationand Entrepreneurship Training Program is an important carrer forcultivating medical students'scientific research thinking， practical ability，inovative consciousness，andcommunicatio and collaborationskills.Althoughlower gradeundergraduate students facechallengessuchas insufficient knowledgereserves andlack ofresearch experience，conducting independent topic selectionunder the guidanceof their supervisors can fully stimulate theirresearch interest and initiative.The article introduces thecore advantagesand reform ideasofindependent topic selection，providing reference for guiding lower gradeundergraduate students in medical colleges to independently select topics for innovation projects and help them smoothly embark on their scientific research journey.
