Survey and Analysis of Professional Identity among Undergraduate Students in Preventive Medicine

Abstract Objective: To understand the current status and influencing factors of professional identity among undergraduate students majoring in preventive medicine,andtoprovidetheoretical basis forcarrying outreform measures of professional identity in preventive medicine.Method:A questionnaire was used to select undergraduate students majoring in preventive medicine froma universityin Nanjing for thesurvey. Result: The professional identity scoreof the survey subjects is 3.57±0.52 points. Students who voluntarily choose their major, hold an optimistic attitude towards the prospects of their major,have good learning conditions and academic performance,serve as learning cadres,and participate inclubactivities haveahigherdegreeofprofessionalidentity.Conclusion:Thefactors that affct profesional identity include grade level,reasons forchoosingamajor,employment prospects,leaing conditions,personal grades, whether to serveasa student leader,and whether to participate instudent clubs.We should collaborate with societyand adopt comprehensive measures at the student level to enhance students' professional identity.
