Strategies for Interdisciplinary Homework Design in Primary School English from the Perspective of Curriculum

AbstractAgainst the backdrop of interdisciplinary learning emphasized in the *Compulsory Education Curriculum Plan (2022 Edition)* and the * English Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education (2022 Edition)*, this article addresses the issuesof "conceptual misalignment"and "insuffcientresource support" inelementaryschoolEnglish interdisciplinary assignments. It proposes a curriculum-oriented approach to interdisciplinary assignment design, forminga "FourDimensions,Four Chains,Five Integrations"model,aiming to fosterdeep integrationof language proficiency and interdisciplinary knowledge while enhancing students'core competencies.
