Exploration on the Paths of College Students' Mental Health Education Carried out by Counselors in Higher Vocational Colleges

AbstractPromoting and strengthening colege students' mental health education is an important educational proposition in the new era. As life mentors and intimate friends for students' growth and development，counselors in higher Vocational colleges have theclosest contact with students and serve as a crucial force in conducting college students'mental health education.This paper focuses on the role positioning and unique advantages of counselors in mental education，and puts forward the following strategies： constructing a hierarchical and classified education system，integrating ideological and political education with the inovation of diversified methods，and improving counselors'capabilities through professional training and mechanism guarantees. These measures aim to enhance the pertinence and effectivenessof mental health educationand facilitate the all-round development of students.
