Exploration and Practice of Undergraduate Academic Mentorship Model for Journalism and Communication Majors in Local Universities

AbstractFacing the dualchalenges ofresource constraints and industrytransformation,undergraduate programs in journalism and communication at local universities need inovative talent training models.Based on the ERG theory, this paper explores the construction of a full-processacademic tutor model. Grounded in the practice of local universities,the study establishesa thre-stage systemconsisting of "survival support, relationship empowerment,and growth leapfrogging" to addressthe dilemmas in undergraduate training,such as goal confusion,abilitygaps,and resource scarcity.Practice hasshown thatthis modelhas efectivelyexpanded students'accesstoresources,enhanced their learning initiative and employability.However,problems such as tutors' energy botlenecks and superficial university-enterprise cooperation stillexist.The research proposes optimization directions including improving tutor incentives,deepening university-mediacollaboration,and dynamically monitoring student needs,providingademandresponsive innovative solution for talent training in journalism and communication programs at local universities.
