AbstractThe application of the case teaching method in mathematics function course teaching emphasizes that students activelyconstruct knowledge systems inreal situations.Itcan notonly visualize abstract mathematical problems to promote students'understanding,but also integrate mathematical ideas intocases,guide students to experience the transformation relationship between combination of number and shape,function and equation in exploration,and promote students todevelop modeling awareness and application ability in problem solving,so as to improve the depth andbreadth of mathematical thinking. Taking the teaching ofjunior high school mathematics function courses as an example,this paper explores theapplication and practiceof thecase teaching methodin junior highschool mathematics function courses.
