From Fragmentation to Systematization: Constructing an Ecology of In-depth Reading for College Students

AbstractIn the era of mobile Internet,fragmented reading hasbecome increasingly popular among collge students, which has led to problems such as superficial thinking and broken knowledge system. As a key path to building a knowledge system and cultivating critical thinking,deep reading aims to achieve the systematization of knowledge. Starting from thecurrentsituation ofcollge students'reading,this article analyzes the drawbacks offragmented reading in terms of scene,content,cognitive strategies,etc.,points out its negative impact on college students' attntion management, thinking ability,and personality shaping,and proposes toconstruct a reading ecology of "reshaping university education - creating reading scenes - using digital tools - family school society collaboration - inovating evaluationsystem-dynamic monitoringand feedbackmechanism",providingapracticalpathforcollgestudents toshift from fragmented reading to systematic reading,and laying the foundation for cultivating their lifelong leaming ability.
