Abstract: China's exceptional traditional culture and socialist core values have endowed "macro-aesthetic education" with rich contemporary significance and value guidance. The integration of the "Great Ideological and Political Education Course" and "macro-aesthetic education" represents a "two-way convergence" between aesthetic education and moral education in the new era. These two domains share unified educational objectives and internal logic, making their collaborative innovation an inevitable choice for the development of aesthetic education in the new era. The "Great Ideological and Political Education Course" not only anchors the value orientation for "macro-aesthetic education" and enhances its educational effectiveness but also deepens the aesthetic expression of cultural confidence and Chinese modernization. Practical pathways for their collaborative innovation include: breaking down disciplinary barriers and applying the principles of the "Great Ideological and Political Education Course" to enhance the infiltrative actions of aesthetic education; constructing a multi-dimensional collaborative education system and utilizing the concepts of the "Great Ideological and Political Education Course" to aesthetic education infiltration pathways; and building a school-based aesthetic education ecosystem by applying the logic of the "Great Ideological and Political Education Course" to deepen distinctive aesthetic education practices.
