Abstract: The reform of the new liberal arts puts forward new requirements for the development of professional disciplines in colleges and universities, such as the transformation of talent training to demand orientation, the cross-integration of disciplines and courses, and the transformation of teaching to active leadership. The comprehensive, applied and innovative features of economics are fully in line with the attributes of the construction of the new liberal arts, and the integration of production and education and collaborative education are the best way to achieve it. This project takes serving the country as its highest pursuit and deepening the integration of production and education as its main line, explores the mode of integration of production and education in economics under the background of the new liberal arts, and strengthens the construction of "scientific research classroom" with the integration of multiple disciplines. It also promotes the integration of scientific research classroom and traditional classroom, builds a "social classroom" and strengthens the joint efforts of schools and enterprises to educate people. Through multiple practical teaching stages such as professional course design, comprehensive experiments, course papers, research classes, and graduation theses, the teaching process is progressive, aiming to cultivate and enhance students' scientific research innovation capabilities, and to establish an innovative industry-education integration education model for economic majors in the context of the new liberal arts.
