Abstract: By exploring ideological and political elements in professional courses, the organic unity of knowledge imparting, ability cultivation and value shaping is achieved, aiming to cultivate high-quality talents with both moral integrity and professional competence and all-round development. This paper integrates ideological and political education organically into the entire teaching process. By leveraging the "Deepwater Drilling Safety Risk Control Virtual Simulation" platform and AI-assisted teaching, and through diverse teaching activities such as case analysis, virtual simulation operations, and role-playing, the parallel transmission of professional knowledge and value guidance are achieved. We inspire patriotic responsibility through the development of the petroleum industry, let students understand the importance of petroleum to national energy security, and establish the ideal of striving. We draw on the stories of our predecessors to carry forward the spirit of hard work and innovation, and cultivate a tenacious will and the spirit of exploration. Emphasizing teamwork, focusing on professional ethics and integrity education, we help students become high-quality talents with a sense of patriotism, innovative spirit and noble character. Practice has shown that the multi-dimensional ideological and political teaching model has achieved remarkable results in cultivating students' sense of patriotism and improving their comprehensive qualities.
