Abstract: Environmental Engineering Equipment is a professional course for environmental engineering students, and its purpose is to cultivate students' engineering design and application ability. In terms of curriculum, the environmental engineering equipment course takes over the university physics, principles of environmental engineering and other professional basic courses, and connects with the environmental construction, environmental economics and other professional courses, as well as production internship, graduation internship and other practical courses, so it has a transitional role of carrying on and starting from the next. At present, there are few teaching materials for this course in the market, and the contents of the lectures mainly focus on materials, mechanical properties, containers and mechanical transmission equipment, etc., which are not in line with the difficult treatment of chemical wastewater and waste gas in the actual production; in addition, the traditional lectures can not strengthen the empathy of the students, and deepen the understanding of the engineering examples of the equipment. In order to solve the above problems, need to create a new teaching content of Environmental Engineering Equipment with the characteristics of "chemical and environmental protection" in the teaching content; in the teaching mode, we combine the traditional teaching content with digital teaching, and design a flipped classroom and an example classroom. This will lay a solid foundation for the cultivation of senior environmental protection talents with interdisciplinary knowledge, cross-industry experience and broad vision, and mastery of high-tech or advanced technology.
