Abstract: The smart library has become one of the hotest topics in thefield oflibrary science and industry nowadays.The theoretical researchand practical workontheconstructionofsmart libraries haveachieved initial esults and feedback.Meanwhile,generative artificial intellgence (AI) is constantly developing and being applied to the constructionof various industries.Therefore,inthefuture development period,itisnecessary tobaseonthecurrent development situation,look to the long-term development goals,and determine the important ways for generativeAI devices toparticipateintheconstructionofsmart libraries.This articleanalyzes theusageofgenerativeAI technology during the construction of smart libraries,and proposes reasonable construction strategies and plans,hoping to provide reference and guidance for the introduction of generative AI into the next stage ofsmartlibrary construction.
