Research on Precision Optimization of UAV Surveying and Mapping in Topographic and Geomorphic Surveying

Xuzhou Rongxin Surveying and Mapping Co., Ltd., Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, 221o18 China Abstract: Inresponse to thelow effciencyand insuficient environmentaladaptabilityof traditional terrainand landform surveying methods,as wellas te problems ofdata loss and model distortion in unmanned aerial vehicle surveyingand mapping incomplex terrin,this researchaims to improve theprecisionandreliabilityofunmannedaerial vehicle surveying.The system integrates oblique photography and laser radar technology,focusing onoptimizing data acquisition strategies and point cloud procesing algorithms in complex environments.Byoptimizing key parameters suchas altitude,overlap,andflight path,agroundsimulationflightandreal-time monitoring strategy isproposed,and multi-level filteringand rigorous adjustment methodsareusedtoprocesspoint cloud data,constructinga full process precision control system fromacquisition to modeling.The verification of typical mountainous cases showsthat this method can effectivelysuppressdata deviation caused by terrain undulation and vegetation coverage,achieve centimeterlevel surveying precision,significantlyimprove thedetail restorationabilityand reliabilityof3Dmodels,and pro vide efficient and accurate technical support for complex terrain surveying.
